We were pioneers in introducing the Intralase laser in 2004 in Europe, and were the second company in Spain, with the Vistahermosa Clinic, to stop using the scalpel, which brought about a revolution in the correction of myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism. This has resulted in a safer technique through the use of the Intralase femtosecond laser, which raises a small flap of the cornea about the size of a lentil, during a process which lasts around 10 seconds. In the next stage, the Excimer laser works on the deep layers of the cornea, altering its curve and thus correcting the pre-existing refractive error. Intralase is today a reference in terms of safety, effectiveness and precision.
We use the Catalys femtosecond laser in cataract surgery. This technology has been the biggest advance in lens surgery in the 21st century, as it offers optimal and safe surgery, and is also the best option for the most demanding premium lenses.
Treating presbyopia or ‘tired eyes’. As specialists in the most advanced treatments for resolving refractive errors, such as tired eyes, our personalized studies allow us to decide on the best solution for each patient.
