The general supervisor of MOI General Department of Medical Services (GDMS), Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al-Issa comes on top of GDMS, in paying too much attention to all medical services provided for the employees of ministry of interior and their families, through supporting hospitals in order to achieve a distinct environment, and improve the level of medical services, and also to achieve a turnaround in line with the overall development of our beloved Kingdom.

Although the security forces hospital in Dammam is still in the beginning, it could cover most of clinical and some micro specialties, in addition to other supporting medical services such as, dialysis, telescope, lithotripsy, and endoscopic surgery. The hospital also contains the most modern devices and other technologies of radiations, laps, and pharmaceutical. In fact we are still working to cover shortages and some other needs of services.

About (1000) staff in our hospital in deferent medical and administrative specialties, extending their efforts to service the MOI employees and provide them with a good quality of care.

In the last few months, several projects which aim to race the level of security of patient in the hospital took place, includes expanding of the ER beds and admission wards. We are currently working to have a complete hospital electronic system by servicing our patients, employees, and partners electronically (such as appointment booking, submitting of medical reports, and other employees and recruitment services.

Several international conferences were organized by our hospital, and involved many professors and spokesmen all over the world, In order to provide the hospital staff with all the knowledge that modern science has discovered and reached in deferent medical and administrative fields, in addition to modifying the programs of home health care.

Finally, we are grateful and thankful for the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the second deputy premier and minister of interior, for his direct supports, and continuation beside the directives about the importance of modifying medical care in accordance to the patients’ needs, and because of increasing the numbers of our patients, we have approved a project of extending the numbers of beds from (120) upto (350).
