A small (16 beds), modern (opened in 2009), private hospital, located in the border city of Nuevo Laredo, right across the Texas border. 50% of the patients come from the United States, due to the proximity to the Texas border, the affordable prices, and the easy access by car and by air.
San Angel Hospital has received accreditation by the Consejo de Salud General (CSG), the most important hospital accreditation body in Mexico, with an overall score of 94%.
