HMI is focused on the delivery of healthcare services. HMI owns and operates two tertiary care hospitals in Malaysia, the flagship Mahkota Medical Centre in Malacca and Regency Specialist Hospital in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor.
Mahkota Medical Centre (MMC) is currently staffed with more than 90 full time medical specialists of various disciplines. MMC’s management comprises of personnel with varying qualifications.
The hospital currently manages 266 beds in six wards, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The hospital also operates other medical facilities including nine major Operating Rooms (ORs) and one Minor OR, Radiology Services, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Day Procedure Unit, Health Screening Services, Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy Services, IVF Services, Haemodialysis Services, Rehabilitation Services, Dental Services and Aesthetic & Laser Services.
Besides the core services, the hospital also provides other services including the cafeteria and retail facilities on the Ground Floor.
