Ramesh Hospitals, started in 1988 by Dr. P Ramesh Babu, is a 560 bed multispecialty tertiary care chain in Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Ramesh Hospitals was Vijayawada’s first dedicated Cardiac care hospital. The hospital has evolved into a Multi Super Speciality hospital by expanding its scope of services and currently operates 2 NABH accredited hospitals in Vijayawada and a 350- bed multispeciality hospital in Guntur, which have connectivity to 11 Tele Medicine centres in Andhra Pradesh.

As an academic and research institution, Ramesh Hospitals conducts DNB Training programme in Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery and offers PGDCC (Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology) programme. DNB programme in Neurology will be commenced shortly. Over the last 28 years, Ramesh Hospitals has provided services to an estimated number of 1 million patients in Krishna, Guntur and adjoining districts and has a dedicated team of 100 doctors and 60 specialist consultants.
