As-Salam Hospital is a multi-speciality hospital that was founded in 1982. It is closely affiliated with the Royal Free Hospital in the UK who offer second opinions on difficult cases and can review radiology and medical reports if necessary.

The hospital was awarded JCI accreditation in September 2015, and is undergoing a large renovation to increase its size due to its popularity in Egypt and internationally.

The hospital has a dedicated department to assist international patients with transport to and from the hospital, interpreter services, as well as assistance with flight and hotel bookings

The As-Salam International Hospital is found on the right of the River Nile in Egypt, and is 28 km from the Cairo International Airport.

The hospital is located in the south of Cairo, and museums, galleries, and historic temples are all close-by. The famous Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, can be found 18 km from the hospital.
