The Hospital and Maternity Santa Joana is a reference for doctors in high-risk delivery and anesthesia obstetrics. We are also affiliated with the Institute Vermont Oxford, an institution that brings together the world's best 700 neonatal units in order to obtain the best practices and results in premature treatment of newborns.

We pioneered the concept of LDR suites (Labor Delivery Room): apartments that become a comfortable and modern delivery room for the baby to be born right there with the father and mother. And the first to develop the Kangaroo (premature baby who goes to his father's lap or mother), where skin contact is vital to the psychomotor development of the newborn.

Our UTI's are reference for doctors to be specialized in complications during high-risk pregnancy and care for premature baby with the latest equipment, multidisciplinary team to provide individualized care to patients and their families.
